PETRONAS MALAYSIA SPONSORING MERCEDES GP’S TITLE

This news was taken from some news at England mentioning that Mercedes GP has signed a long-term agreement with Malaysia’s national oil company Petronas to become the title sponsor of the Formula One team.

Financial was not revealed at the moment when they did the announcement today on 21st December 2009.

Two new sponsors Silver Arrows and Petronas branding will appear on the Mercedes car when it makes its track debut at Valencia on Feb. 1 for the first of the preseason tests. It would be a grand moment.

In conjunction with that Petronas also sponsors the Malaysian Grand Prix, which is schedule for April 4 at the Sepang International Circuit.

As for Mercedes-Benz its been 55 years that they have returned to F1 racing under its own name after buying over Brawn GP, which won the drivers’ and constructors’ championship last season.

More to be revealed as the time to come for all Mercedes-Benz supporters.
